We left Alabama last Wednesday in a fog, literally and mentally. It was hard to say goodbye to the friends we have lived with for two months. Although RVICS is a good organization (please check them out if you are an RV'er and getting ready to retire) we probably won't be joining them for more projects in the near future.
We drove to the Atlanta area for a visit with my parents and sister's family. Got to visit with Marissa's new goldendoodle, CUTE! Her name is Snickers...get it? Snickerdoodle,:)!
We left GA on Friday and traveled to Renfro Valley KY. This is the third longest broadcasting of a music program. It started with "Barn Dance" radio program in 1939. We camped at the RV park there and went to a Classic Country music concert. Great fun and we plan on going back sometime when they are giving a gospel concert.
Saturday we finally got to see Caleb and Abby after two months away. Wow, how they have changed! Caleb is talking and speaks fairly plain. I never knew the words Grammy and Pappy would sound so good! He is at the age where he repeats EVERYTHING. Shelli and Big Caleb just roll their eyes when we say BELCH and BOOGER to him. He just says things over and over, as though he likes the way they roll off his tongue. Abby is laughing, rolling, thumb sucking and enjoying her food. My goodness, she is chubby and SOLID! and a delightful baby. Their parents are blessed to have two happy kids.
We have a few minor issues with the RV so will stop in Greenwood IN for repairs on Tuesday morning, then, if we get done quickly, we will drive to Chris and Em's for a quick meal and look at their new house. We will be spending Easter with them so won't stay long this time.
Ken has his next dr. visit Wed. morning. Then, depending on the results of the scope exam, we will make our plans for the next few months. Right now we think we will stay in IL until the end of April. We have yardwork, a sale (garage, estate sale or auction?), and most important, seeing our IL friends. Hopefully our house will sell soon and we know it will in God's time.
